They are responsible for accurately entering all pertinent medical information into the patient’s medical record, including medical history, physical exam findings, laboratory results, diagnoses, treatments, and other medical decisions.

2. Attention to detail: Medical scribes must have an eye for detail and accuracy in order to accurately document patient visits.
3. Computer proficiency: Medical scribes must be comfortable using computers and have a working knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to use electronic health records (EHR) systems.
4. Time management: Medical scribes must be able to work quickly and efficiently in order to keep up with the demands of a busy clinical practice.
