MEDICAL SCRIBING
Medical Scribing is the documentation of encounters between a healthcare professional or a doctor and a patient. These information are stored digitally in Electronic Health Records (EHRs). A Medical Scribe follows a doctor throughout their work time and documents every conversation. These information stored in EHRs can be accessed by healthcare professional at different time zones. Electronic Health Records are error free and not time consuming.
Roles and Responsibilities of a Medical Scribe :- Make notes about patient appointments.
- Handle at least two patients each hour on average, and at least four patients per hour at peak hours.
- Facilitate diagnostic tests and referrals to medical specialists
