Duties of a medical scribe includes :  


1. Prepare accurate medical records: A medical scribe is responsible for creating comprehensive medical records for each patient, including physical exam descriptions, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans. 

2. Work closely with providers: Medical scribes work closely with physicians and other health care providers to accurately document patient information in real time.

6. Track patient lab results: Medical scribes track and follow up on patient lab results to ensure that the results are delivered to the provider in a timely manner. 

7. Educate patients: Medical scribes may be asked to provide basic health education to patients, such as how to take medications or understand their diagnosis.
