MEDICAL SCRIBING
Medical scribing is a profession in which a trained scribe accompanies a medical practitioner (usually a doctor or physician) in a clinical setting. The scribe is responsible for taking accurate notes and entering them into the patient's medical chart. The medical scribe's job is to capture the physician's dictation and document the patient encounter into the medical record. This helps to reduce the physician's administrative burden, allowing him/her to focus more on direct patient care.
